"Heavy Landing"

"Heavy landing" is a free-standing sculpture at c. 4.5" in height and made predominantly of stainless steel. This will withstand tough weather, and responds to the air currents dynamically.

The dragonfly body is made of copper, and the dandelion head is made of brass. The hand forged stainless leaves have a slate black patina with green and yellow accented sections, then sealed and protected with a pigmented wax. The base of the sculpture is patinated in slate black and also waxed, and attached to a marble base securely, for added stability.

This sculpture can be placed on the patio or amongst plants of your garden landscape. A forever piece of beauty for your garden!
